Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 7, 2026
This personal, single-user system is operated by Ahmad Kasem. It is not offered as a public service. This policy describes the optional Gmail feature used for one mailbox created specifically for AI tooling.
Google user data accessed
With the mailbox owner's authorization, the system uses the Gmail read-only scope to retrieve a bounded number of message headers and text bodies from that dedicated mailbox. It includes all Gmail locations only for that one mailbox.
Use and sharing
The system uses message text only to identify a small number of attention candidates for a private daily briefing. Bounded text may be sent to the configured AI provider for summarization and ranking. The system does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or share it with other users. It does not use message data to train a model under the system operator's control.
Storage and retention
Message headers and bodies are held only in process memory for the briefing run. The local operational database retains only opaque message and thread identifiers, fingerprints, and timestamps for up to 30 days; it does not retain message bodies, senders, or subjects. The private briefing may contain a bounded human-facing summary of selected messages.
Security and limits
The Gmail feature cannot send, delete, archive, label, unsubscribe from, or otherwise modify messages. It does not download attachments, fetch URLs from messages, or give the AI provider tools, filesystem access, Gmail access, or authority to take actions.
Revocation
The mailbox owner can revoke the Google authorization at any time from their Google Account security settings. The system can also be disabled locally without changing the mailbox.
